The demand for quality air and water in the farming industry is coming under more scrutiny everyday.  As new standards develop industry is compelled to invent new technologies to deal with growing air and water quality concerns.

The science behind good growing and processing in farm environments extends to livestock and plants and only recently has there been developments to assist growers with heightening safety protocols.

At Canadian Air & Water we can assist your farm with meeting these evolving air and water quality safety standards to provide better growing environments and more confidence in your products with consumers.

Key Water Contaminants
Nitrate is a soluble form of nitrogen that is usually not adsorbed much by soil particles and therefore can leach into groundwater if not absorbed by plants.

Pesticides can be found in groundwater in most areas where they are used, but nearly always well below water quality guidelines.

The incidence of bacteria in well water appears to have almost doubled in the past 45 years in Ontario. Bacteria move in water from manure at the soil surface, through cracks and macropores in the soil, into groundwater.
